SPRING & FALL BED PREPARATION
Apply 25 lb per 650 sq ft and till into the top 4-5 in. of soil. Once beds are tilled, transplant or direct seed and water in thoroughly. Mulching is highly recommended.
ESTABLISHED BEDS FOR VEGETABLES
Reapply 25 lb per 650 sq ft 3-4 weeks after seeding or transplanting. Try to avoid getting fertilizer on foliage, and water in after applying.
ESTABLISHED BEDS FOR ANNUALS/PERENNIALS, ROSES & SMALL SHRUBS:
Reapply 25 lb per 650 sq ft 4-6 weeks after seeding or transplanting as long as plants are actively growing. Try to avoid getting fertilizer on foliage, and water in after applying.

COMPOST TEA
COMPOST TEA FOR DEEP-ROOT FEEDING OF ALL PLANTS
Mix 1 pound (3 cups) of Chick N Poo™ with 3 gallons of water. Allow mixture to marry for 24 hours. Strain the liquid (Compost Tea) from the solids and apply 1-2 cups per plant. Apply remaining solids around the root zone of plants.

HOW
Apply to a dry, recently mowed lawn. If no rainfall is expected for a prolonged period, water in Chick N Poo with sprinkler or hose system.
HOW MUCH:
Apply at the regular rate of 10 lb per 1,000 sq ft or a heavy rate of 20 lb per 1,000 sq ft. The higher rate can be most beneficial in late fall after the lawn has been aerated. When seeding or sodding, apply at the 10 lb rate under the sod or over new seed.
WHEN
May be applied at anytime. Chick N Poo is a non-burning formula and formulated to use at any time in pre- or in- season. Fall fertilization in important as your lawn is about to go dormant to prepare for harsh winter months.
